In 2020, as two Nigerian immigrants in Houston, we found ourselves navigating the complex realities of cross-border life. A friend needed to buy a car in Atlanta using naira from Nigeria, but no bank or wallet could make that happen smoothly. So we stepped in and made it work — manually.
